A sandbox platform shaped by what people make.
BrickBit is an independent online platform for community games, world building, and avatar customization. You can explore what other players publish or use BrickBit Studio to turn your own ideas into a game.
The website, the client, and Studio
Each part of BrickBit has a job. The website is where you find games, manage your account, browse avatar items, and take part in the community. The game client is for joining desktop games. Studio is the editor for building and publishing them.
A sandbox gives you room to experiment. In Studio, that means arranging a world and adding your own interactions with scripts. Start with a small place you can test, then build on it.
Get the Windows downloadsFrom a first world to a playable game
You do not need to plan a whole game before opening the editor. A few parts and one interaction are enough to start learning the workflow.
- Build a small place. Download BrickBit Studio for Windows, create or open a game, and lay out the space players will explore.
- Add an interaction. The LuX documentation includes practical examples for interfaces, input, player scores, and other game behavior.
- Test, then publish. Check the API reference for the features supported in your script's context. Studio, the game client, and the hosted server do not expose identical APIs; test the intended environment before sharing your game.
Accounts and optional purchases
Creating an account is free. BrickBit also offers optional membership and virtual currency purchases. Shop items, trading, and creator features have their own availability and account requirements.
For example, uploading custom meshes through Studio requires membership. Review the membership details and the terms shown for an item or feature before purchasing.
Taking part in the community
Read the Rules of Conduct before posting or sharing content. The Terms of Service explain use of the platform, and the Privacy Policy describes how information is handled.
