General

This policy covers the BrickBit website, its subdomains, and the BrickBit client and Studio applications.

Any questions regarding this policy may be directed to [email protected].

Staff reserve the right to change or adapt this policy at any time for any reason.
We care for your privacy; if you question our practices, please email [email protected].

Requested Information

You can view public content without an account as a guest. Some features require an account.

Information used by optional advertising and analytics services is described in the Advertising & Cookies section below.

Choose a strong, unique password for your account. Account passwords are stored as one-way hashes rather than readable passwords.

Upon signing up to BrickBit, we require you supply a valid email address. This both verifies your account and enables more user security.

Stored Information

Technical information may be collected when you visit brickbit.net, including your IP address, browser type and the date and time of a request. This information can be personal information and may be used for security and support.

BrickBit uses scripts and cookies to provide site functions and help administer the service.

BrickBit will not attempt to obtain your location through a device or application. If your location is ever requested, it will not be shared with third-parties and would be optional.

For security purposes, all actions performed by users are logged and may be used for support. These logs may consist of your IP address, requested pages, browser type, date/time, and operating system.

Advertising & Cookies

BrickBit uses cookies for functions such as maintaining your login session and remembering preferences. Optional Google advertising and analytics are disabled by default and require your separate consent before they can load. Browsing the website does not, by itself, give consent to optional advertising or analytics cookies.

Where Google AdSense is enabled with the required consent, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to select advertisements based on visits to this website and other websites. Google Analytics, where separately enabled with consent, measures visits to approved public pages. These services may receive information about your browser, device, IP address and page visits.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can manage Google's personalised advertising in My Ad Center and some other vendors' choices at YourAdChoices. These external settings do not replace any consent choices required on BrickBit.

Your daily currency is independent of whether you consent to optional cookies, see advertisements or use an ad blocker. For questions about cookies or personal information, contact [email protected].

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect some features of BrickBit.

Desktop activity status

On Windows, the client may show your BrickBit username and the number of players in your current server through Discord's desktop activity status if Discord is running. Studio shows a generic creation status. This desktop integration is not started on Android. Discord handles activity data under its own privacy terms; review Discord's settings to control who can see your activity.

Mobile app and game activity

When you sign in or play, BrickBit processes your account ID, game joins, play duration, progress, and device or app diagnostic information to run games, show rewards and statistics, prevent abuse, and investigate crashes. Your public profile, game activity, and leaderboard entries may be visible to other users as described in the app.

On Android, purchases are handled by Google Play. BrickBit receives purchase identifiers and entitlement status needed to deliver or restore what you bought; payment card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by BrickBit. Optional Play Games features may process your Play Games identity and achievements when you use them. App integrity checks may send device and app signals to Google for verification.

Some information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, billing, disputes, or legal obligations. The exact period depends on the record and the reason it is needed. To ask about a specific record, access, correction, or deletion, email [email protected]. Deletion may be limited where retention is legally required.

Shared Information

When investigating suspected fraud, unauthorised access, or service disruption, we may review relevant account, security, and server logs. We may preserve records reasonably needed for an investigation, a dispute, or a legal obligation. Access is limited to people who need it for those purposes. We do not publish private account records as a punishment.

BrickBit will only share personal information in ways specified in this privacy policy; we do not sell any personal information to third-party companies.

BrickBit reserves the right to share personally identifiable information required by law to protect the rights of our website or to comply with a court order.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BrickBit may also share personally identifiable information with law enforcement or other agencies if the concealment of such material may risk the safety of both the party involved or our website.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected].

You may change or request the removal of any personally identifiable information stored by BrickBit either on your account settings page or by emailing [email protected]

BrickBit will hold all information associated with your account for as long as it is required in providing you our services.
Your information will be used to settle disputes when needed for legal obligations and to enforce our policies.
